The Blackthorn Map (or “BT Map”) is an interactive dedicated UI that displays valuable information about the world including: available quests, exploration areas, relative mob cons compared to your level, NPCs, and world objects.
How to Use
Type
/btmap to open the custom Blackthorn Map.All areas will initially be blacked out, as we have a fog-of-war feature on the map that hides information until you adventure to and unlock that area.
Find Level-Appropriate Mobs
Once a territory has been discovered, hover your cursor over that area to see the relative mob cons in that area for your level.
For example below, “Orange leaning” in “Develin’s Territory” means that the average mob con across this territory in Cursed Forest is roughly orange con to you. The visual indicator on the top-right suggests that ~66% of mobs in this territory are orange to you, and ~33% are red to you.
Search for NPCs
You can search for NPCs on the map by selecting the “show markers” button. In the “Search” field, you can search for NPCs across unlocked territories like Healers, Rechargers, Armor Merchants, Weapon Merchants, Dye Merchants, and more!
Ping your Groups
You can strategically ping any location on the map for your group mates to see on their BT Maps. To set a ping, right click any area on the map and click “Ping to Group”. The ping will pulse on the BT Map for your entire group to see:
Map Settings
You can adjust your BT Map settings by clicking the settings icon in the bottom-left hand corner.
