Template Builder

Template Builder

We are proud to introduce a custom in-game template builder that allows you to build, browse, organize, and store templates. You can use this builder to submit Craft Orders directly to a pool of crafters, who can then fulfill your orders and deliver the items directly to your inventory.

How it Works:

  • To open the Template Builder, type /craft and select the Template tab.
  • Pick your class and choose a name for your template. Follow the on-screen instructions in the UI to select stats, or use the auto spellcrafting feature.
  • You can import equipment directly from your inventory into the Template Builder using the Inventory (/bag) menu.
  • The Template Builder automatically filters available equipment and recipes based on the class selected for the template.
  • When you are completed, you can submit Craft Orders to crafters to fulfill your designed template.

Notifications

The crafting interface provides visual notification indicators to help you stay on top of your orders.
Notification dots will appear when:
  • A Craft Order has received bids that require your decision as the buyer.
  • You have been awarded a Craft Order and now have an item waiting to be crafted for another player.
These notifications also appear on the crafting menu, making it easy to see when action is required.

Submitting Craft Orders

As you build your template, you have the option to create Craft Orders within the Template Builder and submit those orders directly to crafters for fulfillment.

Competitive Bidding

Each craft order can receive up to three competing bids from different accounts.
When placing a bid:
  • You may only have one active bid per order. Submitting another bid simply replaces your previous one.
  • Once an order has received three bids, it becomes temporarily locked to additional bidders.
  • If one of those bids is withdrawn or declined, the order automatically reopens so another crafter may submit a bid.
This allows buyers to compare multiple offers while preventing orders from accumulating an excessive number of bids.

Choosing a Crafter

After receiving bids, the buyer can review every offer and decide which crafter they would like to hire.
Once a bid is accepted:
  • The selected crafter is assigned to the order.
  • All other bidders are notified that another bid was chosen.
  • All remaining bids are automatically removed.

Order Cancellation

Craft orders can be cancelled under specific circumstances:

Buyers

  • Open orders that have not yet been assigned may be cancelled after 1 hour.
  • Orders that have already been assigned to a crafter may be cancelled after 23 hours.

Crafters

If an assigned crafter is unable to complete an order, they may withdraw after 23 hours.
Rather than cancelling the order completely, it is returned to the open marketplace where other crafters may begin bidding again. Existing bids are cleared, and any escrowed funds are refunded appropriately.

Payments and Refunds

The payment system has been improved to handle edge cases more reliably.
This includes:
  • Proper handling of escrowed funds.
  • Reliable payouts to crafters.
  • Correct refunds to buyers.
  • Support for offline characters and alternate characters on the same account.

Notifications

Several Craft Order notifications now appear directly in your chat window instead of using system pop-up messages, making them much less likely to be missed when logging into the game.

Craft Order Interface

The user interface has also received a substantial overhaul to make creating and fulfilling orders much easier.

Improved Order Creation

Creating a craft order is now a smoother process and can be accessed from multiple locations throughout the game.
Additional improvements include:
  • Weapons can now be selected based on the appropriate item level.
  • Additional weapon information, such as attack speed, is displayed during selection.
  • Impossible Spellcrafting combinations can no longer be submitted, preventing orders that no crafter could ever complete.

Better Information for Buyers

When viewing an order, buyers can now see a countdown indicating exactly when cancellation becomes available.

Better Information for Crafters

When preparing a bid, crafters can now see the material cost required to produce the requested item, making it easier to price their services accurately. To ensure material costs display correctly, make sure your tradeskill is set to the profession appropriate for the requested item.
