Hero

Heroes are in a good spot in Classic, although they do lack clear distinctive properties that set them apart from the Blademaster, even from a defensive perspective. Heroes have access to Scale Determination (+ Stoicism on Blackthorn) and in terms of peeling Blademasters can hold their own just fine. Perhaps even more so than Heroes, due to their backsnare. That said, Heroes do tend to be more free to lean into 50 shield spec, which is somewhat meaningful for Guard purposes.
The bleed changes should put Celtic Spear back into a good spot, but we go over all styles and weaponlines just to bring everything up to par across the board. In order to make the Hero stand out defensively, the Intercept ability cooldown is now halved.
 
Overall:
  • Intercept cooldown reduced from 60s to 30s.
 
RAs:
  • Now has access to Dashing Defense
  • Battle Yell now also forces pets to attack the user, while killing FnF pets instantly.
