Necromancer

Necromancer pet mechanics have been tweaked so that they align more closely with player mechanics, creating a more consistent gameplay experience for both necromancers and those fighting against them.
Changes:
  • Incoming magic critical damage now capped at 50% against the necromancer pet
  • Necromancer pets now follow the same CC immunity rules as players
  • Pet absorption capped to 50% to prevent excessive physical damage mitigation
  • These Realm Abilities now affect the pet:
    • Purge
    • Master of Concentration
    • Concentration (with Facilitate Painworking)
    • Avoidance of Magic
    • Ethereal Manipulation
    • Toughness
  • Necromancer players can buff themselves in shade form with self-buff potions. These buffs will affect the shade form, but the stats will also have an effect on the player’s pet form. In addition, the pet may still be buffed by other players. This will affect the pet in the way normal NPCs or pets are affected by buffs.
