On Blackthorn, our goal is to make Darkness Falls the epicenter of high risk, high reward exploration and a true focal point of the server. Darkness Falls will offer the best experience in the game, but at a constant risk. To support that, we’ve introduced several new systems:
DF Medallions of Passage
Available at border keeps, new medallions can be purchased for 5 Daemon Diamond Seals. These allow you to port into Darkness Falls even if your realm does not currently own it.
Daemon Treasurers
New NPCs have been added to every DF merchant room. They allow you to exchange your Emerald, Sapphire, and Diamond seals for each other, making farming and progression more flexible. Right click them to convert to the seal of your choosing.
DF Quests
We’ve introduced brand-new Darkness Falls quests designed to encourage movement, conflict, and reward throughout the dungeon. More details on these coming soon.
Seal Enhancing
You can enhance an item using Seals in DF which will double the enhancement bonuses. Crafting merchants & stations have been added to DF. See our enhancing page for more information about enhancing in general.
