Realm Abilities
Realm ability revisions to the Old RA framework below:
Overall:
- Passive RA pre-requisites for active RAs have been removed.
- RA pre-requisites for passive RAs have been reworked:
- Pre-requisites only start when a player wants to exceed higher than Rank 5 in the passive that has a prerequisite in Old RAs.
- To exceed Rank 5, you will need rank 2 of the appropriate Stat attribute RA (pre-requisite cost: 2 Realm spec points total) .
- To exceed rank 7, you will need rank 3 of the appropriate Stat attribute RA (pre-requisite cost: 4 Realm spec points total).
Passives
- Minion Control has been removed (because pets no longer take XP).
- Mastery of Focus added:
- This raises your spell level (to a maximum of your level) to lower resist chance, but stacks with Majestic Will (see below).
- Thanes now have access to Wild Power.
- Stoicism is now an RA. Reduced from 25 to 20% CC reduction. Full tanks get it for free at level 37.
- Majestic Will is now a scaling passive RA. It decreases the target’s resist chance and now also an attacker’s miss chance by the same amount. All classes have access to Majestic Will.

- Wild Arcana
- Procs on Snare DDs: critical snare value reduced from +100% to +75%.
- New New Frontiers scaling has been adopted with a few adjustments. Standard NNF cost = 1 1 2 3 3 5 5 7 7
- Augmented Stat RAs have the following scaling:
- 6 12 18 23 28 32 36 40 44
- Tireless 1 is granted to all classes at level 5, and Tireless 2 at 36. See the Endurance section in Overall Changes for more information.
- Damage over Time spells now crit off of Wild Power, rather than Wild Arcana. Poison still crits off Wild Arcana.
- Determination total cost reduced to 22 points. Potency scaling is maintained (max 55%).
- New cost: 1 1 1 2 2 3 3 4 5 (Total = 22)
- The following classes can now fully specialize into Determination: Blademaster, Hero, Armsman, Mercenary, Berserker, Warrior, Savage, Paladin, Reaver, Valewalker, Champion, Thane, Ranger, Hunter, Scout
- The following classes now gain free access to Stoicism (20% CC reduction) at level 36: Blademaster, Hero, Armsman, Mercenary, Berserker, Warrior, Savage
- The following classes can now train Stoicism from level 40 onwards for 7 realm spec points: Skald, Warden, Friar
- Wild Power, Wild Arcana, Wild Healing, Wild Minion, Mastery of the Arcane and Mastery of Pain have their scaling adjusted to the following values:
- 4% 8% 12% 15% 18% 21% 24% 27% 30%
- Dodger, Avoidance of Magic, Dualist’s Reflexes, Mastery of Magery, Mastery of the Art, Mastery of Healing, Mastery of Parrying, and Mastery of Blocking, Mastery of Water, and Mastery of Arms have their scaling adjusted to the following values:
- 2% 4% 6% 8% 10% 12% 14% 16% 18%
Actives
- Actives unrelated to power, health or endurance gain are available at level 40, except Purge.
- Purge re-use timer reduced from 30 to 20 minutes.
- Second Wind re-use timer reduced from 15 minutes to 5 minutes.
- The Empty Mind re-use timer reduced from 30 to 15 minutes.
- Mystic Crystal Lore re-use timer reduced from 5 to 3 minutes.
- Raging Power re-use timer reduced from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
- First Aid re-use timer reduced from 15 to 5 minutes.
- Concentration re-use timer reduced from 15 to 10 minutes.
- Static Tempest now ignores Stun immunity, but does not reset it.
- Reduced the re-use timer of Static Tempest to 15 minutes.
- Bards now have access to Mastery of Concentration.
- Added Dashing Defense to the heavy tank RAs (14 points, 1 minute duration, 20 minute re-use).
- Battle Yell: Now also forces pets to attack the user, while killing FnF pets (Animist / Theurgist) instantly.
- Speed of Sound now breaks upon taking offensive action.
- Speed of Sound now grants CC immunity for its duration. Crowd control or status effects are not cleared by SoS and reactivate when SoS wears off. SoS breaks when taking an offensive action.
- Added Blissful Ignorance to Savages (10 points, 7 minute re-use).
- Rune of Decimation now stays on the ground for max 20 minutes.
- Allure of Death added to Bonedancers (5 points, 10 minutes re-use, no additional benefits except for the visual transformation, duration increased from 60 to 90s)
- Fungal Union added to Animists (5 points, 10 minutes re-use, no additonial benefits except for the visual transformation, duration increased from 60 to 90s)
- Added Sputin’s Legacy RA to Healers (cost 10 pts, 15 minutes re-use).
- Reduced re-use timer of Perfect Recovery from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
- Fury of The Gods re-use timer reduced from 30 to 15 minutes.
- Changed how Shadowrun works, and added a new RA called Undaunted to Shadowblade.
- Veil Recovery converted to activated ability that removes resurrection sickness (10min RUT, 5pt cost)
