The Daily Frontier Quest System provides players with additional reasons to venture into the frontiers and participate in a variety of activities. The system is intended to provide players directionality without requiring them to follow a singular style of play. Some days may encourage PvE in the frontier, while others may encourage keep warfare, guard killing, or smaller-scale objectives. Because the quests rotate and are randomized between realms, the system should help create changing patterns of activity throughout the frontier.
Daily Quest Rotation
Quest objectives will rotate to encourage different styles of frontier gameplay. Daily quests rotate every day at a set time. To obtain the daily quests, visit the NPCs in your realm’s portal keep.
Each realm receives randomly selected quests, with the restriction that a quest should not repeat the previous day's quest. Because of this randomization, the objectives available to each realm may differ from day to day.
If you have not completed a quest when the daily rotation occurs, your existing quest will remain active. You may either finish it or abandon it if you would rather pick up the newly rotated quest.
You may turn in:
- 1 Solo Daily Quest per day
- 1 Group Daily Quest per day
Solo Daily Quest
The Solo Daily is designed to be achievable primarily by an individual player while encouraging them to explore the frontier.
Objectives that you may choose from include:
Kill Frontier Mobs
Kill X number of a specific level 48–51 mob somewhere in the frontier. There are always 3 choices, one in each frontier.
There are four versions of the Solo “Kill Frontier Mobs” Daily for each realm, but the available mobs are shared between the versions. These mobs are located in the various realm frontiers.
Because quests are randomized, two realms may occasionally receive the same mob objective on the same day, while other days they may receive different objectives.
Capture Scout Camps
Capture X number of Scout Camps in the frontier.
This provides an alternative objective for players who prefer participating in smaller-scale RvR activities rather than hunting mobs.
Group Daily Quest
The Group Daily is designed around objectives that generally benefit from multiple players working together.
Objectives that you may choose from include:
Kill Named Mobs
Kill X number of named mobs level 56+ in a specified frontier.
Capture a Keep
Successfully capture a keep in the frontier.
Kill Keep Guards
Kill X number of keep guards in the frontier.
There are three versions of the Group Daily for each realm. The objectives are randomized, meaning the same frontier or objective may occasionally be assigned to multiple realms on the same day, while on other days the quests will differ.
This randomness is intended to naturally create opportunities for players from different realms to encounter one another while pursuing their daily objectives.
Frontier Only
All Daily RvR Quest objectives must be completed in the frontier.
Activities performed outside of the frontier will not count toward the quest.
For example:
- Taking a Thidranki keep will not count.
- Killing Thidranki guards will not count.
- Killing a named mob outside of the frontier will not count.
- Killing normal mobs outside of the frontier will not count.
The purpose of the system is specifically to encourage players to venture into the frontier zones and create additional opportunities for RvR encounters.
