Realm Standing is an account-wide loyalty progression system that honors your dedication to the realm. Whether you are defending the frontlines in Realm War, supplying the war effort through crafting, assisting fellow citizens, or tackling PvE threats, every act of devotion to your realm elevates your standing and grants you unique privileges reserved for the realm's true champions.
Overview
Realm standing is earned in small daily amounts, held overnight, and applied once a day.

Realm Oath Required | Ranks V — VIII |
Standing is meant to reward returning to the same realm, so the first points you earn are held in escrow. Your first two earning days for a realm banks your points in escrow, your third earning day releases the whole bank into the settlement, and every earning day after that settles on the night it happens.
Swearing an Oath to the Realm
Realm Standing has three modes:
- Realm Sworn — Locks you to your realm, provides enhanced benefits from certain rewards, and grants full access to progression and skill trees.
- Realm Neutral — Allows realm switching with a 1-hour RvR swap timer, limits Standing to Rank 4, and allows selection of optional rewards.
- Realm Flexible — Allows realm switching with a 5-minute RvR swap timer, limits Standing to Rank 4, and does not allow optional rewards.
All modes can inherit bonuses from Sworn players while grouped.
Oath & Mode Changes
- Players may swear their oath at their capital-city class trainer after reaching Standing Rank 1.
- Sworn players can use
/standing forsaketo abandon their oath, returning to Neutral and preventing them from swearing an oath again for 30 calendar days.
- Neutral players can use
/standing flexibleat their capital-city class trainer at any time. This removes any previously selected optional rewards and starts a 7-calendar-day cooldown before returning to Neutral.
- Flexible players cannot become Sworn directly; they must first return to Neutral and remain Neutral for at least 7 calendar days.
- Calendar-day timers continue regardless of whether the player is logged in.
Realm Standing Titles
Titles are automatically granted to Sworn players upon reaching the corresponding rank:
Realm | Sworn | Rank 5 | Rank 8 |
Hibernia | Oathsworn | Pride of Hibernia | Ardam na Riochta — “The Exalted One of the Realm” |
Midgard | Oathsworn | Pride of Midgard | Fyrirmadr — “The One Who Stands First” |
Albion | Oathsworn | Pride of Albion | Princeps Regni — “First of the Realm” |
Earning Realm Standing Points
Every source is worth a fixed number of points. Most repeatable ones carry a daily limit. Some milestones are claimed once and never again. There is a maximum amount of points you can gain each day, but doing a lot of activity and gaining more points is not wasted as any extra points are put into an overflow bucket that will be used in the following days as along as you earn at least one point during a day.

Realm Standing Ranks
There are eight ranks:
- Realm Standing ranks I through IV do not require a realm oath
- Realm Standing ranks V through VIII require a realm oath
Notes:
- Reaching a threshold does not hand you the rank. It hands you a decision, and until you spend it your standing in that realm is frozen: every point you go on to earn is diverted to overflow and waits there. Nothing is lost, but nothing moves either, so an unspent decision is worth resolving.
- A decision buys one thing — the next rank, taken along with the bonus offered at it. Ranks are taken in order, and you cannot climb past a rank whose bonus you never picked. Filling in a rank you hold but never chose at is free at any time, because the rank up that granted it already paid for that pick.

Track Your Standing
Type
/standing to open the Realm Standing window. This provides the full view: every realm, every rank, what you have chosen and what is on offer. In game,
/standing status prints the same figures: your oath, your streak against the qualifying days, what you have earned today against the ceiling, what is held in escrow and overflow, and how far each realm is from its next rank. It also names any decision you owe and any re-pick you have paid for but not yet spent. A message tells you whenever points are awarded and what they were for.
