Someone make one and link it. You know we need it.
Be the change you want to see in the world.
I ain't tryna be a Discord kang (again). Just want a space to pleb out.
Welcome
This forced forum is such a bad move, it's hilarious.
Make an unofficial discord, it's gonna thrive, don't worry.

You're free to create an unofficial discord of course.
Staff isn't going to run or moderate it though.

Why was the general discord channel deleted ? It was nice to ask for how to build a character and get a fast answer, i dont really know where to ask now
Discord is for voice communication.
#general was disabled because it turned into a pile of whining and abuse, while lacking the ability to moderate it effectively. Personally, I think dropping a few banhammers would've done the trick but here we are and I won't really miss it.Lauria wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 11:26 amWhy was the general discord channel deleted ? For your example, #player-advice and class specific channels still exist.
Why every freeshard is deleting the general chat?
DAoC playerbase is just filled with specimens.
Yuh this is the best partZyfrig wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 9:09 amYou're free to create an unofficial discord of course.

Definately not joining any unofficial discords, no thank you very much!
All questions class-related can stil be asked in the official discord. There's still a bunch of other channels, al that is needed is there.
maybe if you all promise not to be naughty, talk about stealthers, cry about losing a fight or @ teammembers all the time, they'll bring general chat back!
shouldn't be to hard
edit: how the hell do i have 86 posts
edit: ah, maybe bug reports

-DAoC since 1st of april 2002- and yet never really got any good at it.
Any unofficial will descend into a cesspit, no thanks.
